Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Zavki Zavkizoda met with State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Qatar Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi in Dushanbe. Zavkizoda put forward a proposal to Qatari investors, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The Minister of Economic Development and Trade highlighted the prospects for investing in economic projects of Tajikistan, emphasising that it would be expedient to use existing capacities of the two countries for this purpose.
Zavki Zavkizoda added that Tajikistan and Qatar have brought bilateral relations to a high level. He emphasised that positive results of bilateral cooperation were achieved thanks to the wise policy of President Emomali Rahmon and Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
On that day, the ministers of foreign affairs of the two countries held political consultations in Dushanbe. The participants discussed aspects of partnerships in economy, trade, investment, tourism, culture, science, education and healthcare.
