On March 31, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited Zarafshon village in Zafarabad district, where he attended the opening ceremony of a drinking water supply line, which provided access to safe drinking water for 43 families, i.e.,1,800 residents of the village, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The drinking water supply line provided the local educational and healthcare institutions with safe drinking water.

The consistent implementation of the financing projects aimed at providing access to safe drinking water in urban and rural areas of the Republic shows that the problem of drinking water access is addressed with every passing year. It was noted that state independence and the implementation of the instructions of the heads of state and government made it possible to provide access to clean drinking water for the residents of Zarafshon viallge.
