On October 11, the Design-2022 international exhibition and conference opened in the exhibition centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Domestic and foreign companies showcase their achievements in various areas of architecture and construction, the Turkmenistan: Golden Age edition reported.
The events are organised by the Ashgabat Administration Office and the Secretariat of the Turkmenistan National Commission for UNESCO as part of the work towards including the capital of Turkmenistan in the Design nomination of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
The state enterprises, Turkmen entrepreneurs and foreign businessmen specializing in architecture and construction have arranged their pavilions and stands at the exhibition. Partners from other countries present innovations and advanced technologies in engineering supply networks, road and social infrastructures.
Visitors can see numerous models and design layouts of administrative and office buildings, shopping and entertainment centres and luxury apartment houses and learn about the accomplishments and contemporary achievements in science, education and culture. The exhibition also features the goods of furniture, textile and carpet manufacturers.
