Tokaev votes in All-Republic referendum

On June 5, President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev came to the polling station, located at the Al-Farabi Palace of Schoolchildren, to vote in the All-Republic referendum. This referendum was held to introduce amendments and additions to the Constitution. Earlier, the Parliament of Kazakhstan could introduce constitutional amendments and additions.

“Today, in fact, an important historic day for our country. The people are making a fateful decision. There is no coercion. The referendum is organised at a high level,” Tokaev emphasised, addressing those present.

Addressing the journalists, the Kazakh leader answered their questions about the main goals and objectives of constitutional reform.
