An exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Tajikistan opened in the Federal Republic of Germany. The cultural event will last more than two months. The German diplomats made opening remarks, the press office the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reports.
Deputy Director-General for Culture and Communication of the German Federal Foreign Office Maria Fellner and a representative of the German Federal Foreign Office for Cooperation with Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia Matthias Luttenberg took part in the opening ceremony.
They noted that cultural cooperation is an important factor in bringing peoples closer together and building up interstate contacts.
The exhibition features photographs and collections about the 30-year history of cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany. Visitors to the exhibition will learn about the joint projects in ecology, green energy, art and culture.
The exhibition will close on 5 August.
