Tokayev and Mirziyoyev discuss Central Asian consultative meeting of heads of state

The leaders of the two states discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral strategic partnerships and alliance.

On May 9, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The interlocutors exchanged congratulations on the 77th anniversary of Victory Day and wished happiness, good health, prosperity and every success to each other and the peoples of the two countries, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The leaders of the two countries discussed the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral mutually beneficial strategic cooperation and alliance. They focused on key aspects of regional partnerships, in particular the upcoming consultative meeting of heads of Central Asian states.

Exchanging views on the enhancement of cooperation in the trade, economic and other sectors of mutual interest, the interlocutors expressed mutual readiness to further boost multifaceted cooperation.
