On April 29, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Yoshimasa Hayashi during his official visit in Uzbekistan. The interlocutors discussed the objectives of multifaceted cooperation between the countries and the interregional agenda. This year, Uzbekistan and Japan are celebrating the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the 20th anniversary of strategic partnerships.
