Dushanbe accuses Kabul of failing to fulfil demands of global community

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan noted that Afghanistan has not set up an inclusive government so far.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in the 48th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers in the capital of Pakistan. In his speech, he stressed that Afghanistan has not set up an inclusive government so far, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported on March 23.

Noting that this is the key demand of the global community, but Kabul is not in a hurry to fulfil it, Muhriddin added that issues in the South Asian republic have a negative impact on the Central Asian countries.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs highlighted the importance of stepping up the fight against terrorism and other threats of our time.

He also emphasised the need to strengthen interstate interaction of the   Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in resolving issues of Muslim countries.

Muhriddin invited the OIC Member States to take part in the upcoming international conference on water issues in the capital of Tajikistan.
