President of Tajikistan puts into operation new brewery

The enterprise is located in the industrial zone of Levakant city in Khatlon Region.

On March 20, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon put into operation a new brewery. The enterprise is located in the industrial zone of Levakant city in Khatlon Region. The facility was built by a local entrepreneur Bahriddin Sirojiddinzoda, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.

The brewery is affiliated with the Saltanat industrial corporation. The enterprise was built to achieve National Goal 4 – accelerated industrialization of Tajikistan. This facility created permanent jobs to 250 citizens of the country.

The new brewery will produce up to 20,000 litres of beer per day. It will produce not only this alcoholic drink, but also its alcohol-free variety with fruit flavours. The facility has started producing kvass.

The production line was purchased in Europe from the Hungarian company Zip Technologies. Along with Tajik employees, number of foreign specialists, including a technologist, the head of the laboratory and an engineer, work at the enterprise.

When visiting the industrial facility, Rahmon expressed gratitude to Sirojiddinzoda for the construction of the brewery.
