On February 25, the working group on investment attraction held its third meeting in in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sharaf Sheralizoda, the press office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The heads of a number of government agencies, ambassadors and consuls attended the meeting, which was held via videoconference. The officials discussed the 2022 work plan, focusing on enhancing interdepartmental cooperation in attracting foreign investment.
The participants also discussed the regulation of air transportation, the implementation of projects and the organisation of business forums with other states.
On October 1, 2021, Sheralizoda chaired the second meeting of the working group. The employees of ministries and departments, local and foreign investors and entrepreneurs attended the meeting. They discussed the work plan, the Investor Guide, the renewal of investment project passports, as well as the proposals and problems of the foreign businessmen who had invested in the projects in Tajikistan.
