Ulukbek Maripov meets with Kyrgyz students in Riyadh

Kyrgyz students were informed about the measures taken by the authorities of Kyrgyzstan to develop the country.

On February 18, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Saudi Arabia, ex-Prime Minister Ulukbek Maripov met with Kyrgyz students and citizens of Kyrgyzstan who study and reside in Riyadh, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

He told his compatriots about the effective measures being taken by President Sadyr Japarov and the Government to boost social and economic development of Kyrgyzstan. He also told them about the state policy aimed at supporting the youth.

Also, citizens were informed about the tasks that the President of Kyrgyzstan set for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan to protect the rights and interests of citizens of Kyrgyzstan overseas.

The ambassadors answered all questions of Kyrgyz citizens and students, including those regarding the procedure for issuing educational documents and work permits.

Sadyr Japarov appointed ex-Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov as Ambassador to Saudi Arabia in later January.

Maripov was the head of government of Kyrgyzstan from February to October 2021.
