Retirees in 62 villages of Batken Region to receive extra 2,000 soms from March

The pros of the special status of Batken Region were discussed during the meeting.

On February 7, parliamentarians of the Yntymak and Ishenim factions of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic held an off-site meeting in Batken Region. They told the meeting participants about the advantages of the law on the special status of Batken Region, the press office of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The law applies to 62 settlements located along the state border. First, it is planned to simplify the procedure of legalisation of houses located near the border. Property registration fee used to come up to 2,000 soms. Now title documents will be issued free of charge.

Citizens will receive a non-conviction certificate and undergo a medical examination, in particular ultrasound and X-ray examination, free of charge.

Retirement pensions and benefits of retirees, who reside in 62 villages, will be increased. They will receive an extra 2,000 soms. It is also planned to raise the salaries of teachers and medical workers.
