Bishkek Mayor’s Office donates 50,000 soms to family of deceased Tazalyk employee

A car accident, which resulted in the death of a municipal enterprise employee, had occurred in the capital at 8 am.

On January 4, Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Junushaliev arrived at the scene of a car accident, which had resulted in the death of a 34-year-old employee of the Tazalyk municipal enterprise. The car accident occurred at 8 o’clock in the morning on Shabdan Baatyr Street near the thermal power station, the press office of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reports.

As was reported, the Tazalyk employee was at the workplace. He was wearing a reflective safety vest.

According to preliminary data, a woman was driving the vehicle (right-hand drive Toyota Probox) that had hit the janitor. She did not see the janitor on the road while overtaking. The Tazalyk employee died from his injuries after being hit by the vehicle.

The Mayor ordered that the work of janitors on the central streets on weekends be restricted temporarily and street cleaning equipment be used on the central streets as much as possible.

The family of the deceased will receive 50,000 soms from the reserve fund and a compensation payment in accordance with the labour legislation of the republic.
