Mamin attends launching ceremonies in Karaganda Region

The plant that will produce rolled steel products and channel bars was put into operation in the region as part of Phase II of the Forever Flourishing (Middle Asia) Pty Ltd. project.

On December 10, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin paid a working visit to Karaganda Region. The Chairman of the Government took part in the launching ceremonies of industrial, social and cultural facilities and presented state awards to local residents, the press office of the Prime Minister reported to CentralAsia.news.

Askar Mamin took part in the launching ceremony of the plant that would produce rolled steel products and channel bars as part of Phase II of the Forever Flourishing (Middle Asia) Pty Ltd. project. Mamin was informed that its annual production capacity would be 90,000 tonnes of metal products, which would allow meeting the needs of construction sites throughout the country and increasing exports.

The Prime Minister visited the Saran industrial zone in Saran, where the Allur group and Tatneft were implementing the joint initiative to build the KamaTyresKZ tire plant. The plant will produce 3.5 million tires per year; its launch is planned for the fourth quarter of the coming year.

The first products made at the industrial facility under construction were demonstrated to the Prime Minister.
