The President of Kyrgyzstan will deliver a message at the World Leaders Summit on Climate on November 2.
On November 1, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov arrived at the SEC Centre in Glasgow to participate in the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson greeted the leader of the Kyrgyz Republic at the entrance to the Centre, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.
The day before, the high officials of Queen Elizabeth II and the UK Government greeted Japarov at the ramp of the plane upon arrival at Glasgow International Airport.
The President of Kyrgyzstan is to deliver a message at the plenary session of the World Leaders Summit on November 2.
The leader of Kyrgyzstan will meet with his foreign counterparts, as well as the heads of international climate organisations.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President’s Office Jeenbek Kulubaev are accompanying Japarov to Glasgow.
