An agreement on studying the possibilities for signing a Memorandum of Partnership was reached.
On April 14, employees of the Ministry of Finance, with the support of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, held online negotiations with their colleagues from the Public Investment Bank of France (Bpifrance). The parties agreed on further effective expansion of bilateral cooperation, as well as exploring opportunities for signing a Memorandum of Understanding, as reported by electronic newspaper «Golden Age».
The sides considered the details and prospects of establishing cooperation in such areas as investment and finance with the participation of Turkmen-French enterprises.
Employees of the investment bank Bpifrance told the conference participants about the activities of the institution and its various abilities. The representatives of Turkmenistan, in turn, familiarized their French colleagues with investment projects in the country. In this regard, it was mentioned that a favorable investment climate had been created in Turkmenistan.
It must be added that earlier MEDEF International and Turkmenistan agreed to develop cooperation in the greenhouse sector, as well as implement joint investment projects.
