Documents, photographs and other items related to the President's student years and his contribution to the development of universities can be found at the Museum.
On January 22, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and his son, Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali opened the Museum of the Leader of the Nation. The museum collection consists of documents, photographs, paintings and other items related to the student years and the activities of the leader of the country, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reports.
The museum is located in the building of the Economy and Finance Faculties of Tajik National University. It was built to honour of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Academic Council of the University adopted the decision to open the museum on August 18, 2020.
The museum houses the reception hall and two exhibition halls – Education and Independence. There are the State Emblem and the State Flag of Tajikistan in the reception hall. The collection of the Education Hall includes the application for admission, admission essays, student ID card, grade book, diploma and order on graduation of Emomali Rahmon, as well as the photographs of the university rectors and teaching staff and the Tajik leader in the 1970s and 1980s.
The collection of the Independence Hall tells about the President’s visits to the University and the achievements of Tajik National University for 30 years of independence. It also includes Rahmon's books and published works about him.
