276 babies were born in Kyrgyzstan on New Year’s Eve, the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, headed by Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, reported.
There were 143 boys and 133 girls among the newborns, and 15 caesarean sections were performed. The largest number of births was registered in Osh and Osh Region — 88, in Jalal-Abad Region — 57 and in Bishkek — 52.
On New Year’s Eve, two twins were born at the maternity hospital of the Osh Interregional United Clinical Hospital.
The first babies born in the new year are a girl with a weight of 3.520 kilograms and a height of 49 centimetres at Bishkek maternity hospital 2, a girl with a weight of 4.050 kilograms and a height of 59 centimetres — in the Kyzyl-Kiya General Medical Practice Centre, and a boy with a weight of 3.015 kilograms and a height of 51 centimetres — in CGMP in Kemin district, Chui Region. A girl with a weight of 3.650 kilograms and a height of 52 centimetres and a boy with a weight of 3.080 kilograms and a heigh of 51 centimetres were born at the Jalal-Abad United Hospital.
