On October 16, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov arrived in Beijing for a working visit to participate in the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. He held talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China reported.
Wang Yi noted that the two leaders have announced the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnerships between China and Turkmenistan this year, ushering in a new era of bilateral cooperation.
China is ready to work with Turkmenistan to deepen comprehensive cooperation and take it to a new level. The Chinese Minister said Turkmenistan is a key partner of China in jointly building the Belt and Road, and Meredov’s participation in the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation will give new impetus to bilateral cooperation and boost the implementation of important joint projects.
«One Belt, One Road» is an international forum through which China is boosting the implementation of transnational trade and investment projects.
