Last week, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov and Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Moldova Vasile Saramet had a meeting in Chisinau, the press office of the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Moldova reported.
The main issue under discussion was the launch of direct flights between the two countries, which is becoming increasingly relevant given growing interaction between business circles. The interlocutors expressed readiness to develop specific proposals for the next meeting of the Bilateral Intergovernmental Commission, which is scheduled to take place in Astana next year.
The interlocutors discussed the possibility for Moldova’s accession to the Kazakhstan’s initiative on the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC).
In conclusion, Almat Aidarbekov conveyed an invitation to the leaders of the Civil Aviation Administration of Moldova to take part in a regional seminar, which will take place in Almaty on November 28-29 this year and focus on the Global Reporting Format (ICAO GRF).
