Kyrgyz Ambassador offers France cooperation in children’s education

Teachers from the Kyrgyz Republic will be received in France: they will study the methods of work at educational institutions.

On September 5, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz met with Director of the Directorate for European and International Affairs and Cooperation at the Ministry of National Education, Youth and Sport of France Natalia Nikitenko in Paris. The interlocutors focused on building up cooperation in education between the two countries, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Sadyk Sher-Niyaz expressed interest in cooperation in preschool and school education. He invited France to exchange experience in the development of preschool education systems and inclusive teaching methods. Kyrgyzstan is also seeking to develop advanced training programmes for French teachers from Kyrgyzstan in Paris or other regions of France.

The Ambassador invited the French side to consider developing a double diploma programme. Universities will exchange students who study economics and the humanities.

Natalya Nikitenko supported a visit of a delegation of Kyrgyz teachers to France. Teachers will see how schools in France work and communicate with their counterparts.

The parties agreed to continue promoting bilateral cooperation in education.
