With the aim of expanding mutually beneficial cultural relations between Tajikistan and Russia, the Days of Culture of the Russian Federation will be held in Tajikistan from 6 to 13 July. Spectators will enjoy the performances of a famous pianist Denis Matsuev, the Nalmes State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Adygea and other talented artists, the press office of the Ministry of Culture of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The Russian delegation consisting of 64 artists led by Deputy Minister of Culture of Russia Nadezhda Prepodobnaya will perform in Dushanbe and Khujand. The grand opening of the Days of Russian Culture and Matsuev’s concert will be held on July 7 at 19:00, and the concert of the Nalmes Folk Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Adygea will take place at S. Aini State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre of Tajikistan on July 9 at 19:00.
The programme of cultural events includes the opening ceremony of an exhibition of the RF Ministry of Culture on July 7 at 11:00, and a meeting-dialogue between the museums of the two countries at 11:30. The visit of the Russian delegation to Khujand will begin on July 10, and the cultural events will be held at K. Khujandi State Theatre of Music and Comedy on July 11.
