Turkmenistan hosted the international investment forum «Arkadag — smart city» on the occasion of the opening of the technologically modern municipality in the country. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the event. This was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan Today».
The president noted that the forum will intensify the attraction of investments in the national economy, as well as in the industrial development of Arkadag. According to him, during the event there will be an exchange of views and proposals aimed at diversifying the production and consumption of goods and services.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that Turkmenistan has approved an investment program for 2023. It is aimed at increasing the economic potential of all regions and creating new jobs. He emphasized that the state expects an inflow of tens of billions of manats of investments.
At the forum, particular attention will be paid to initiatives in the field of innovative digital technologies, the development of entrepreneurship among young people, the president added.
