Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon sent a message of congratulations to Vo Van Thuong on his election to be the new President of Vietnam. He wished good health and every success in his work to his Vietnamese counterpart and peace, well-being and further prosperity to the Vietnamese people, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
«We are optimistic about the prospects of Tajikistan-Vietnam relations and are always interested to promote and strengthen them in all areas of mutual interest. I hope that, through joint efforts, cooperation between our countries will continue to develop and be enriched with new content,» the President of Tajikistan emphasised in his message.
Emomali Rahmon noted that the Tajik side is ready to take all necessary measures to effectively use the existing opportunities to boost multifaceted cooperation, as well as foster a constructive interstate dialogue at the highest and high levels.
