The delegations of Tajikistan and Austria took part in the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation in Vienna. The parties discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in a number of areas, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The participants considered strengthening relations in the trade, economic, agricultural, industrial, transport, construction, energy and healthcare sectors. Particular attention was paid to partnerships in environmental protection and disaster management. Particular attention was paid to cooperation in digital transformation.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sharaf Sheralizoda and Director General for Foreign Economic Relations of the Federal Ministry of Labor and Economy of Austria Franz Wessig headed the delegations.
Following the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation, the participants signed the protocol.
