President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon. The parties discussed the results of the first Kyrgyzstan-Slovenia business forum, focusing on an enabling investment climate in the hydropower, mining, agricultural, tourism and IT sectors of Kyrgyzstan.
Tanja Fajon emphasised that Slovenian entrepreneurs who operate in the agricultural, infrastructure, pharmaceutical and construction industries are ready to intensify partnerships with Kyrgyz businessmen.
The business forum provided a platform for signing the Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Investment Agency of Kyrgyzstan and the State Agency for Business Promotion, Internationalization, Foreign Investments and Technologies of Slovenia and the memoranda of understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan and the SPIRIT Agency, ZhalGroup Asia and DUOL d.o.o.
