Sadyr Japarov talks to border region residents about their problems

The Kyrgyz leader said one of the main goals of the state is to improve the lives of citizens.

On December 25, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with the residents of Kara-Bak, who told him about the difficulties they face, during his working trip to Batken Region, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.

They expressed profound gratitude to the country’s leadership for raising allowances, which help consistently improve the lives of the residents of Batken Region.

Japarov reviewed the progress of the implementation of the pilot project of a stone paved road with sidewalks on the inner streets in Kara-Bak village, Batken Region.

The project envisages for building a 3-km stone paved road. As of today, 100 metres of the road have been paved with stone.

The day before, the President visited Ak-Sai and Kapchygay villages in Batken Region, where the houses were destroyed during the tragic events on September 14-17. Construction works on 51 houses are underway. The foundation of all the houses have been laid, the walls of 17 houses have been built and 5 houses have been roofed. Finishing works on 14 houses are underway.
