Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan Rustam Soli had a meeting with Chairman of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting (AzTV) Closed Joint-Stock Company Rovshan Mammadov in Baku. The interlocutors discussed aspects of cooperation in professional training, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan reports.
AzTV representatives will conduct training courses on production of political and cultural TV and radio programmes for TV and radio broadcasters. They will also conduct advanced training courses on feature and documentary filmmaking within this partnerships.
In August 2018, the Television and Radio Committee under the Government of Tajikistan and the Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC of Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation at the meeting of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Tajikistan implements the state television and radio development programme for 2021-2025. The programme envisages training specialists at institutions of higher vocational education in the Russian Federation, the Federal Republic of Germany, the United Kingdom, France and other countries.
