On March 10, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering military enterprise in Nur-Sultan that manufactures armoured wheeled vehicles, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported.
The Kazakh leader visited the facilities that manufacture armoured self-propelled guns with the Kazakhstan logo in the technical zones of the military enterprise and an exhibition featuring the products of Kazakhstan’s defence industry.
The President was informed in detail about the activities of the strategically oriented holding and the current situation of the industry responsible for providing the army with defensive military equipment.
Based on the results of the visit, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev identified the central routes for the development of this industrial platform. Highlighting the need to support domestic manufacturers, the President called on the top managers of the company to technologically upgrade the platform in line with modern world analogues.
