Kyrgyzstan ready to become a “window” for Turkey to enter Chinese and EAEU markets

Japarov told Turkish businessmen about supporting and protecting the rights of investors in Kyrgyzstan.

On November 11, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov met with representatives of the Turkish business community during his working visit to Istanbul to participate in the 8th Summit of the Heads of the Member States of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (CCTS), the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The President told them about the support and protection of the rights of investors in Kyrgyzstan and invited businessmen to invest in Kyrgyz economy, noting that Kyrgyzstan could and was ready to become a “window” for investors to enter the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, China and other neighbouring states.

Turkish businessmen thanked Japarov for creating an enabling environment for foreign investors in Kyrgyzstan and expressed their readiness to contribute to bringing bilateral trade to a new level.

The trade turnover between the countries has increased this year compared to 2020.

Japarov plans to hold meetings with the leaders of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Hungary on the sidelines of the CCTS Summit.
