Japarov instructs that government agencies create enabling business environment

The President urged to create an enabling environment for entrepreneurs and investors.

On July 5, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov gave the government agencies 35 instructions on the intensification of interaction with the business community. The Order was signed following a meeting with businessmen on June 23, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reports.

In accordance with the Order, the heads of ministries and departments, plenipotentiary representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers in the regions and heads of local administrations were instructed to ensure the fulfilment of the tasks set by the President during the meeting with entrepreneurs.

“Disciplinary measures can be taken against the above-mentioned high-ranking officials for non-implementation or improper implementation of the Order,” the President’s Office reported.

The President instructed that all contradictions in the laws hindering the growth of entrepreneurial activity be eliminated, a plan of action to curb the shadow economy be developed and implemented, a mechanism for the enhanced protection of the rights of entrepreneurs and investors be developed and adopted and a special council for the protection of entrepreneurs and investors under the President be created by December 15.
