On April 19, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov heard a report from Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov on the measures taken to improve the settlement and payment systems and expand the range of digital banking services at the government meeting, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Geldimyradov presented the proposal of the Rysgal Joint Stock Commercial Bank on the introduction of the Internet Bank and Mobile Bank systems to the President for review. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers informed about the opportunities offered by these digital services and the measures taken to improve the quality of remote banking services and increase non-cash transaction volumes by expanding the range of services.
The President emphasised the importance of consistently improving the payment systems and expanding the range of digital banking services and approved the proposal presented for review and gave Hojamyrat Geldimyradov specific instructions in this regard.
