On March 20, the signing ceremony of a cooperation programme between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and Italy for 2024-2025 took place in Rome, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
The document was signed during the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani.
The foreign ministers discussed promoting bilateral relations in such areas as politics, diplomacy, trade, economy and culture. They also talked about positive interaction within international organisations, particularly the UN.
The parties exchanged views on issues on the international and regional agenda.
As was reported, the Turkmen delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov completed the working visit to Belgium on March 19.
