President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of Belarus and Alexander Lukashenko met in Minsk. They discussed promoting trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported the details of the meeting.
Rahmon emphasised the need to increase trade, intensify new cooperation ties and jointly implement mutually beneficial projects. The Tajik leader also highlighted the need to set up a working group that would bolster investment cooperation between Tajikistan and Belarus.
The meeting focused on international and regional issues as well. In general, it aimed to strengthen friendly relations between the two countries and boost cooperation in various fields.
