On November 20, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that the main requirements include high quality and effective coordination of seasonal agricultural campaigns during the online meeting on the development of the agro-industrial sector, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
The President highlighted the important role of agriculture in the structure of the national economy. In this context, the President emphasised the need for the comprehensive development of the agricultural sector and a responsible approach to the fulfilment of designated tasks.
Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of quality construction of facilities in the regions of the country under the Rural Development Programme and the Social and Economic Development Programme. The President instructed the high-ranking officials to monitor the pace of the cotton campaign and the caring for wheat fields in strict compliance with agrotechnical requirements.
