The RF Ministry of Labour and Migration specified the most common reasons for deportation of Tajik citizens from the country. Most often migrants have to leave the country because they have no registration and license, Sputnik reported.
According to the Embassy of Tajikistan to Russia, migrants must legalize their stay in the Russian Federation. Otherwise, citizens of the Republic may be held administratively liable, fined up to 5,000 roubles and deported.
In accordance with the new order posted on the official Internet portal of legal information, migrant workers must notify in advance the Ministry of Internal Affairs about employment in the country. To do this, they need to fill in the document in the Russian language by hand or on a computer, attach a copy of the employment contract or agreement for performance of work and submit it to the territorial branch of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The order comes into force on January 7, 2024.
