On October 9, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Myahri Byashimova held talks with the Permanent Representative of Finland to the OSCE Vesa Hakkinen. They discussed issues of further cooperation between Ashgabat and the organization. This was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of the MFA of Turkmenistan.
The diplomats noted that the republic and the organization successfully cooperate in the energy, transport and environmental spheres. Turkmenistan interacts with the Parliamentary Assembly, the Office of the High Commissioner on National Minorities, the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, and the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media.
Myahri Byashimova and Vesa Hakkinen also discussed cooperation between Turkmenistan and Finland at the bilateral, regional and international levels.
The president of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani. They emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements.
