On October 19, President Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev warmly congratulated the large and friendly staff and veterans of the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on their professional holiday – the Rescuer Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.
The President said representatives of this profession work in hazardous conditions and perform their professional responsibilities with honour and in full risking their life. They are devoted to their duty and ready for heroism and any difficulties, the President stressed.
The President said rescuers arrive to help in the shortest possible time during natural or man-made disasters and critical situations in everyday life and do their work with great official and personal responsibility.
Addressing the heroes of the occasion, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev emphasised that their daily work – saving people and protecting material assets and the national natural wealth from various risks and threats is highly valued. The President expressed belief that the rescue mission in Kazakhstan will continue to be performed at the highest quality level, and rescuers will remain impeccably devoted to their professional duty.
