Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev met with CEO of Qatar Charity Yousef Ahmed Al Kuwari. The interlocutors discussed cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Qatar Charity on the implementation of projects and the expansion of projects in healthcare, education and social housing, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Informing about the activities of the charity organisation, including the activities of its office in Bishkek, the guest noted that over the past few years, $15 million has been provided in financial assistance to the Kyrgyz side.
The Minister expressed great gratitude to the Qatari side for providing assistance to the Kyrgyz people.
Emphasising the success of bilateral cooperation, Al Kuwari said the organisation is planning to increase assistance to Kyrgyzstan next year.
The parties agreed to promote close cooperation with the Qatar Charity office in Bishkek on the implementation of projects of great significance for the people of Kyrgyzstan.
