On December 17, Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing of the Russian Federation (Rospotrebnadzor) Anna Popova visited Dushanbe. She met with Minister of Health Jamoliddin Abdullozoda. The talks focused on the epidemiological situation in the country, the press office of the Ministry of Health reported.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Tajikistan. Popova and Abdullozoda expressed interest in strengthening cooperation. The Head of the Federal Service visited a number of laboratories in the capital of Tajikistan.
Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing of the Russian Federation met with Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda. He emphasised that Rospotrebnadzor played an important role in supplying medicines and improving professional skills of healthcare workers of the country during the coronavirus pandemic.
As of December 15, more than 58.1% of the adult population of Tajikistan have been vaccinated.
