Municipal employees from Tajikistan tried their hand at designing the concepts of «cities of the future», the TG channel Rossotrudnichestvo reported.
Young leaders from different countries, including Tajikistan, Abkhazia, Kyrgyzstan and Serbia, among others, were on a traineeship in Nizhny Novgorod on August 28-30.
One of their assignments was to develop municipal projects which involve the harmonisation of different cultures, facilitation of international relations, promotion of event tourism and youth employment and creation of ecosystems.
On other days, the participants in the New Generation Programme learned how to arrange new public spaces and made presentations on the best youth practices in their countries as part of the foresight session. The delegates also studied the social development trends.
