Mayor of Bishkek Emilbek Abdykadyrov held an off-site meeting at the Altyn-Bulak recreation house, located in Issyk-Kul Region in the north of Lake Issyk-Kul. The Mayor reviewed a construction project and gave specific instructions to the Head of the capital construction department of the Mayor’s Office during his working trip, the press office of the City Administration reported.
In particular, he instructed that the site master plan of the main building and sports facilities be revised to preserve green spaces. He also proposed that irrigation systems be developed and included in the project to maintain green spaces. A conference room and a beach for holidaymakers were also included in the list of requirements.
Design and survey works on this facility are currently underway. It is planned to build a four-storey building with a basement for 250 visitors, a sports complex and several cottages.
The building of the Altyn-Bulak recreation house was built in 1970 and put into operation in 1973-1975. The city-owned buildings are dilapidated.
