The Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company built a new public garden near the Triumphal Arch on the eve of the Day of Transport Workers, the press office of the City Administration reported.
The park was unveiled to mark the birthday of Esil district on August 5. Deciduous trees were planted on a one-hectare area.
The public garden offers a variety of opportunities for recreation and entertainment. There are a children’s playground, exercise equipment, comfortable benches, alpine slides and lawns. The public garden was built in accordance with the Memorandum between the National Company and the Esil District Akimat.
Astana Akim Zhenis Kassymbek said this year more than 165 yards and public spaces in the city, including parks, public gardens and boulevards, will be landscaped. Most of landscaping works has been completed, including the construction of pedestrian crossings under the Amman and Abylaikhan bridges that linked park clusters along the Akbulak River.
