Central Asia’s only neurology centre to open in Tashkent

This investment project will be implemented together with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

On May 27, Acting Deputy Khokim for Housing and Communal Services and Improvement Shokhrukh Rakhimjanov had a meeting with the consultants of  Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), who would take part in building the first-ever and only Neurology Centre in Central Asia, the press office of the City Hall reported to CentralAsia.news.

The Japanese consultants received accurate answers for their questions about infrastructure, location of lines of communication, ecology, conditions, etc. on the territory of the Tashkent Medical Academy, where the centre would be built. This healthcare facility will use modern, innovative technologies and provide high quality services to patients not only from Uzbekistan, but also from neighbouring countries.

The Uzbek politicians highlighted the urgent need for the implementation of the project and its crucial role in timely and effectively managing neurological disorders. They expressed readiness for close cooperation in implementing the project and noted that this kind of contacts and meetings would continue.
