Reconstruction of damaged social and commercial facilities will begin soon.
On May 8, the Office of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov informed on the start of construction of houses in Batken Region for 36 families of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan killed in the clash on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, the press office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
This was done on the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov. When meeting with the people of the border villages, he promised that construction and reconstruction would begin soon; new modern buildings would be built on the place of damaged and destroyed houses.
As was reported, the leader of Kyrgyzstan visited the districts of Batken Region, where he held meetings with local people.
Japarov said a mobile clinic had went to Batken Region to provide medical aid. Under the donor 5-year project, mobile clinics will visit all the regions of the country and provide free health services to residents of mountainous and remote settlements.
The President also said Batken Region would receive a special status soon.
