Tokayev thanks winners of 100 new faces of Kazakhstan Project

The leader of Kazakhstan took part in a meeting with the winners of the project via videoconference.

On April 30, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev took part in a video conference with the participants of the 100 new faces of Kazakhstan Project and thanked the winners, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reports.

Congratulating the finalists, the leader of Kazakhstan said they were the pride of Kazakhstan and had gained recognition with their talent and contributed to the development of the country. Citizens of Kazakhstan like them, who know how to combine in-depth knowledge with advanced experience, will lead the country forward.

“The winners are several people who present the Kazakh people to the world. We must pay tribute to the work of our compatriots who have succeeded in various fields. The experience of successful people will always serve as an example for others. The younger generation will follow you. I want to wish every citizen of our country to be successful like you,” the President said.

Tokayev suggested holding regular meetings of the winners of the project with the heads of central government agencies, which would promote ideas and innovative proposals. 

Over the past four years, more than 7,500 people have participated in the 100 new faces of Kazakhstan Project, which let the country know a reproductive doctor Aidos Ibragimov with his unique method of treatment and a musician Imanbek Zeykenov, who won the prestigious Grammy Award and became famous all over the world.

This year’s fourth project has made known a drawing teacher Ahat Rakishev who initiated the construction of a bridge in his village, a young chemistry teacher Ulan Usenov, a scientist and human and animal vaccine developer Kaisar Tabynov, an IT specialist and founder of a robotics school Damir Nurkezhanov, a development engineer Sanzhar Taizhan, the first woman from Kazakhstan to become the head coach of a hockey club in the United States Bulbul Kartanbai, an ecologist Ekaterina Vibe, a poet and translator Serikzhan Kazhytay and a student volunteer Daryn Abilzhanov.
