Russia ready to deliver Sputnik V vaccine to Kyrgyzstan

Novikov said Bishkek had officially registered the vaccine and was ready to include it in the vaccination programme.

On April 21, First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Artyom Novikov arrived in Russia for a working visit. He had a meeting with his counterpart Aleksey Overchuk. Novikov said Bishkek had officially registered the Russian vaccine Sputnik V and was ready to include it in the vaccination programme, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The Russian side confirmed its readiness to start delivering the vaccine to Kyrgyzstan in the near future.

The parties also discussed the legal status of Kyrgyz migrants in Russia, as well as the ways of regulating the legal status of foreigners who were staying unlawfully in Russia.

Overchuk informed about the possibility of formalising the legal status of foreign citizens by June 15 this year without applying administrative measures to them and expelling them from Russia.

The parties exchange views on the major aspects of bilateral cooperation and interaction in promoting digital transformation.
