Kazakbayev calls on CIS countries to resume flights

The ministers of foreign affairs signed a number of important documents of cooperation at the meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council in Moscow.

On April 2, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev took part in the meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council during his visit to Moscow, where the ministers of the CIS countries signed a number of important documents of cooperation for 2021-2030. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan suggested resuming regular flights among the CIS countries, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The ministers approved the action plans for the Strategy for Cooperation in Physical Culture and Sport, the Strategy for International Youth Cooperation and the Strategy for Cooperation in Tourism.

The three strategies are developed for 2021–2030.

Kazakbayev called on the ministers to make concerted efforts to maintain the pace of mutual trade, ensure the unimpeded transit of goods, resume regular flights and facilitate the free movement of labour forces across the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The next meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council will take place in Minsk, Belarus on October 14.
