On March 30, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban held talks involving the government delegations of the two countries. The parties reached agreement on the implementation of new projects in Uzbekistan’s food, pharmaceutical, agro-processing, chemistry and mechanical engineering sectors using Hungary’s best practices.
Uzbekistan and Hungary exchange experiences in the spheres of healthcare, science and education. This year, students from the Republic have received over 100 grants to study at universities in Hungary, and the University of Debrecen will start working in the capital.
