On March 21, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov addressed the message of congratulations on the Nooruz Holiday to the Kyrgyz people. On behalf of the Government, Maripov expressed belief that the holiday would bring love, peace and prosperity to all his compatriots, the press office of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
The Prime Minister expressed belief that citizens of Kyrgyzstan should expect economic reforms aimed at boosting economic growth and improving the people’s welfare to take place in the near future.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers expressed belief that the people of Kyrgyzstan would be able to achieve great success by joint efforts.
As was reported, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov congratulated the Kyrgyz people on the Nooruz Holiday.
The message of congratulations said many centuries ago, the ancestors knew that day and night were of equal duration during Nooruz, the daylight hours got longer and spring work started. This is how the tradition to celebrate and praise this day as sacred emerged.
